The day begins with an early morning ferry ride to Brač. Our first stop after arriving in Supetar is Škrip. It is one of the most significant places on the island, with forts and sarcophagi that speak volumes of Dalmatia’s ancient history. On the way there we will stop at the highest peak of the Adriatic islands. It’s Vidova Gora with spectacular views that will take your breath away. Škrip is legendary for its olive oil culture. You’ll get a taste when we visit the Olive Oil Mill and Museum. The next destination is another small settlement, Donji Humac and a visit to Kopačina Cave where you’ll see traces of life from 8000 years before Christ.

The local population is proud of its stonemasonry tradition. From the village, you can see the nearby quarry from which the world famous Brač stone is extracted. We will make a stop at a unique gallery of the Jakšić family, a combination of sculpture, painting and fashion design. After that, we’ll stop for lunch at a local tavern. You may order à la carte but we highly recommend you try the local speciality, Peka. It’s a slow roast of meat and vegetables on an open fire. After lunch we head back to Split the same way we came. But this time, with countless memories of a truly unique experience.

Overlooking the city of Split, in the mountain pass between Mosor and Kozjak, lies the small village of Klis. You will be allowed to freely explore this 2000-year-old fortress. You’ll see the locations of some Game of Thrones scenes which were filmed here. Our next stop is Stella Croatica.
